Born in Turin and raised in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in Italy, Emanuele Pugnale is the brand's founder and creative director. With a background in machine tool technology, he established Pumak Trading in 2003, supplying high-precision machinery to industries from aerospace to eyewear. His experience working with top eyewear manufacturers inspired him to launch Pugnale Eyewear in 2013, blending engineering precision with innovative design. For Emanuele, glasses are the perfect fusion of technology and style: his two great passions.

Nestled in the heart of Udine, the flagship boutique of Pugnale Eyewear invites visitors into a world where industrial precision meets artisan elegance. The space—located within the brand’s headquarters—showcases vast stone slabs, sculptural metal elements and bespoke display architecture, all designed to reflect the label’s fusion of technology and luxury.
